Senior Consultant/ Project Manager Energy Technology

DNV's Energy Markets & Strategy team in Arnhem (Netherlands) is currently growing and strengthening its position on the market. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Consultant/ Project Manager, who will be part of a customer-centric technical team and will actively be working on the acquisition, managing and execution of projects, sales and business development activities.

The purpose of this role is to support our customers to realize their goals and ambitions in the energy transition. You will work in a team of technical experts focussing on technical and strategic advisory services to (inter)national utilities, industry, asset owners, governmental organizations and investors.

The project portfolio of the team is a mix of technology and service development work for clients and groups of clients, demonstration and testing of existing and new, innovative energy technologies, consultancy on these technologies, combined with market and regulatory modelling and consultancy services.

Our team works on a wide variety of energy and decarbonization technologies with application in the energy transition, such as: electrification, hydrogen, CCS, all kind of heat related technologies (e.g., heat pumps, boilers, storage), hydro, geothermal, biomass, waste and gas.

To qualify, we need you to have:

• At least a Master’s degree in preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a similar technical study with a specialization in Energy.
• Significant, non-academic working experience (at least 5 years) in the energy or industry sector with experience in technical or financial consulting or project development and project management preferably with Technical Due diligence experience.
• Effective writing and communication skills both in Dutch and English language.
