Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) for Navigator

We are looking for a talented and proactive person who will join our team in India as a Senior Backend Engineer to help us evolve our software and data products.

We think you are passionate about building elegant customer-facing solutions on any device. You combine a good understanding of the overall system and a hacker mindset, with a deep interest in the knowledge of key components and tools. 

To qualify, we need you to have:

• Experience should be between 3-7 Years.
• Experience in backend development of enterprise web applications
• Good knowledge of modern web technologies
• Ability to work on back-end and database of applications
• Experience in the full lifecycle of the application. 
• Strong knowledge of frameworks/applications like .NET Core, Mass Transit
• Exceptional knowledge of programming in C#
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture styles & APIs (GraphQL, REST, gRPC)
• Strong knowledge of relational database (MSSQL)
• Strong knowledge of Service Bus technology (RabbitMQ)
• Experience with IDE Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is good to have.
• Experience with agile development practices.
• Familiarity with Azure Tech Stack & Cloud Services. Having experience with cloud tools for provisioning, deployment, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization is good to have.
• Experience with distributed computing and leveraging multi-threading
• Familiarity with Forms Management is good to have.
• Fluent in English to get the message across loud and clear.

Your day to day will include:

• Collaborate with the team on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion
• Design and develop applications where data is a core part of the product
• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of web applications
• Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the applications
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of applications for maximum security, speed, and scalability
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology
• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards
• Expose, share and discuss technology with a large network of like-minded colleagues.
