We’re recruiting for a growth focused Senior Consultant with proven seller-doer consulting experience in the domain of Food and Beverage to join our Assessment & Assurance team in Italy based in Milan or in one of the other Italian Offices.


This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role to achieve growth as a seller doer, lead the delivery of projects, ensure service excellence for clients and play an important role in development of others within the team. We help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment and progress towards authentic sustainability.

Key Accountabilities:


You will be expected to lead the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of F&B industry services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:


  • Management consulting in Supply Chain Management and Operations
  • Digital Supply Chain Management
  • Suppliers’ inspection and verification
  • Compliance to customer’s own protocols
  • Execution or risk mitigation check lists
  • Social audits and CSR reports
  • Health, Safety and Environment standard
  • Sustainability and digital solutions


You will be expected to make proposals, win projects and lead project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:

  • Prepare taylor-made analysis, presentations and reports.
  • Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients.
  • Directing projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards.
  • Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients.
  • Introducing services from your own/ existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients.
  • Writing thought leadership for the team to be published internally and externally and speaking publicly to generate the correct profile and market engagement in Italy

This role will also have an active participation in developing the go to market activities for F&B supply chain, assurance, sustainability strategy and risk management services. Please note that this is not a role selling F&B food safety certification.

Position Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales and business development of F&B services, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record of leading & delivering consulting services as a trusted advisor and thought leader for clients.
  • Digital Assurance including digitally enabled supply chain solutions for transparency, track and trace knowledge.
  • Analytical and engineering mindset.
  • Academic qualifications relevant to performance improvement and sustainability subject areas.
  • Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence.
  • Able to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance to Consultants.
  • Able to line manage Consultants and provide coaching and development.
  • Willingness to travel and work around Italy and the South Europe region and on occasions overseas.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is a prerequisite.
