As part of DNV’s Renewables service area and the Solar & Battery Storage section in the Northern Europe region, the Solar Engineer will work along with other technical professionals to provide technical consulting services. The Candidate will have the opportunity to learn technical aspects of the solar PV plants by being involved in various projects, performing Energy Production Assessments, site visits, feasibility studies, contractual terms review, tender process preparation and management, construction and operation monitoring. The role also has elements of business development, marketing and sales supporting responsibilities. This includes working cohesively within the region to establish long-term customer relationships, keeping abreast of industry needs and trends, as well as participation in industry events to ensure that DNV's service offerings are well-known and well-respected in the power industry.
This role, reporting to the Head of Section Solar & Battery Storage, will focus on supporting our technical team in delivering our services to our existing customers and seeking out new opportunities in the Poland and Eastern Europe. It is also expected that the candidate will cooperate closely with the experienced Consultants and Specialists from other teams in the region and globally to leverage the company’s global networks to build the energy advisory business and optimize quality project delivery.
