Senior Full-stack Software Developer

Performance Solutions develop and support bespoke desktop, web and cloud-based software applications and deliver associated consultancy services to our customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to join the team in Loughborough to help us build the next generation of solutions to support the energy transition.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Work on projects to deliver bespoke software, consultancy, and associated services to customers within the agreed time, costs, and quality standards.
• Participate in and support all phases of bespoke software projects including gathering and clarification of requirements, production of technical specifications, software design, implementation, deployment, support of UAT training, documentation, ongoing support, and progress reporting.
• Participate in both client and internal meetings.
• Provide customer support in line with service level agreements.
• Support business development activities including identifying new opportunities, understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions, accurate cost estimation, proposal preparation, system demonstrations, and presentations to existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and help implement improved ways of working to drive efficiencies and improve standards.

• Learning - Desire to learn and expand knowledge of testing methodologies and practices.

To qualify for this position, we need you to have demonstratable professional experience in the following technical areas:

Additionally, we’re looking for a person who:

• has at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical field.
• is able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, sharing knowledge, ideas, and information.
• is able to communicate effectively, both in written form and verbally.
• has the flexibility to travel and work with the UK and overseas for various periods of time.
• has a full Driving Licence.
