Lead Auditor

Position title: Lead Auditor

Location: Saudi Arabia

The Lead Auditor is responsible for conducting audits for DNV clients in GCC countries as per various ISO standards. The auditor will also be responsible to develop good rapport with the Saudi based clients and develop the relationship with them. This position helps clients to improve the quality and safety of their business performance through the application of internationally recognized standards.

This position reports to the Operations and Technical Manager, Middle East and requires to be a Saudi national. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform 3rd party audits as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & other related standards in line with DNV guidelines, policies and procedures in GCC countries.
• Conducting trainings/Develop as a trainer for courses as per various ISO standards.
• Interact directly with customers at all levels of management in developing timely, complete and accurate reports of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system.
• Document and report audit activities and results and resolve the Technical Review (TR) issues if any so that the lead time for certificate delivery is optimized.
• Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure.
• Maintains appropriate audit credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed.
• Generate leads & opportunities across services, pass on to sales and support Sales Team, as required.
• Ensure Customer rapport and develop relationship with the customers in Saudi Arabia.

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering discipline preferably chemical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years’ QHSE experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 is needed.
• Accredited Lead Auditor (LA) course in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 is preferred.
• Knowledge of legal requirements related to QHSE applicable in GCC countries.
• Knowledge of other standards such as ISO 50001, ISO 55001, RC 14001 & ISO 22301 is an added advantage.
• Must have the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak very well in English & Arabic, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high quality deliverables on time and on budget.
• Willingness to travel and work around Middle East and other locations.
