Veracity by DNV is looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer at our Oslo/Høvik office.

 

You will join a global team that runs a broad range of products and services, transforming existing and developing new digital services and tools across all of DNV's industries.   • Exploring simpler and more informed patient journeys in health care through data sharing between consumers and providers
  • Developing a digital platform to connect fuel suppliers and ship owners in the maritime industry
  • Providing ship performance and safety solutions, using sensor data to improve maritime operations
  • Transforming existing services into new digital business models, using data insights to offer customized services, automation and self-service.
  •  Our technology stack contains relevant languages, technologies, and tools like Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, WebAPI, React, MS SQL, Azure Cloud, Node.js, Pyton, Databricks etc

 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Operation of Azure cloud-based services
  • Designing and implementing new capabilities of operating platform based on Kubernetes / Azure technologies
  • Incidents troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Create new tools and improve on existing tools to help automate tasks and improve monitoring practices
  • Cooperate in an international team architecting, building and maintaining solutions that scale with speed and performance in cloud
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and expose, share and discuss technology with a large network of like-minded colleagues

 

We are looking for a new colleague:

  • Skilled on Containers and container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes)
  • Experienced in scripting (ex. PowerShell, bash)
  • Knowledge on infrastructure as a code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep)
  • Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker, Podman, Helm, Kustomize, Flux)
  • Familiar with continuous integration and deployment, Gitops methodology

 

Beneficial to have experience with:

  • Experience in operational processes (Disaster recovery, Deployments, Rollbacks)
  • Familiarity with security tools used (Opa, Trivy, Sops, Snyk)
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in Monitoring, logging and alerting tools in Azure
  • Azure DevOps
  • Networking knowledge
  • Implementing automated deployments via YAML in Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Agile development methodology
