Local Unit & Position Description

The PLM Section is responsible for the development, operation and support of a Business Application which is used in different business areas in DNV based on the PLM tool Teamcenter from Siemens. We are seeking a person to strengthen the global PLM team responsible for supporting our internal and external customers.  


In your role as PLM Support Engineer you will:


  • Provide application and process support (2nd line) on Teamcenter
  • Create and update support documentation
  • Monitor and support business units’ usage of applications
  • Perform small operational and development tasks
  • Be part of the global virtual team and collaborate on support activities with the global support hubs
  • Participate in user acceptance and regression testing
  • Participate in problem and change management of application
  • Contribute to enhancing the applications and users’ application knowledge
  • Cooperate with software development partners (Intelizign).

Position Qualifications

Successful candidates should have good understanding of the IT technical aspects as well as interest in the support of business processes. We are looking for person with knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

  • Application Support 
  • System Integrations
  • System operations and development would be preferred
  • PLM applications (preferable Teamcenter)
  • Professional proficiency in English – spoken and written (the working language is English)

  • University degrees at bachelor level in relevant dicipline
  • Atleast 3 years of experience is required in the relevant field.
