DNV is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Renewables Development Engineer to join our Regional Team in Italy. We offer a full-time position reporting to reporting to Wind Project Engineering & Due Diligence team leader for Italy and East Mediterranean.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about renewables and will be able to contribute to the team from an early stage. Typically, team members work in multiple projects over the course of the year and in several countries.
The role will be based in the Imola, Bologna or Milan office and involved in independent and owner’s engineering services through the entire lifecycle of renenable energy projects and for a wide range of Customers, supported by colleagues from other disciplines. While main focus is expected to be on-shore and off-shore wind energy, the consultant will be part of a group of experts specialised in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) services and it is expected significant involvement in solar projects and other renewable energy fields.
The Engineer will spend the majority of the time conducting direct project work for Customers and project management. It will be considered a plus if the person is recognized as an expert in the renewable energy industry and has previous experience in project development.
