Local Unit & Position Description

The Midstream/Downstream and Labs Service Area is looking for a Principal Engineer/ Consultant who has a passion for identifying and executing on market opportunities and is looking to make an impact by creating and building fast growing services. The selected individual with the drive the main new business growth opportunities within the service area as well as the digital transformation of our services.


This is a hybrid position and will be based in our DNV office in Ohio, Dublin.

 

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate new market opportunities related to pipelines and coordinate/develop a team to pursue selected opportunities
  • Develop a strategic plan to achieve market and sales goals and execute on business development to achieve sales goals
  • Demonstrate a consultative mindset
  • Provide leadership and foresight related to business opportunities
  • Collaborate with other teams

Position Qualifications

What is Required

  • Bachelor or master’s in engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of pipeline industry experience
  • Excel at talking with customers and making presentations
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

What is Preferred

  • Involvement in industry organizations
  • 3+ years of management/leadership experience
