The role is based in the DNV Digital Solutions business – a business focused on delivering high-quality engineering software products to a wide variety of global customers. The role sits within our Consulting, Region Europe Middle East & Africa, Plant Integrity Management Team. This team implements the DNV Synergi Plant and Synergi Plant RBI software products for energy businesses across the region. These configurable products provide asset integrity management and risk-based inspection software to help ensure the safe operation of complex process plant. The role will be based in either the UK (Loughborough or London) or UAE. DNV offer a hybrid working policy. The team is based across the EMEA region in UK, Poland and UAE with further resources based in the APAC region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and delivering Synergi Plant & RBI software systems for our customer across the globe. They will also be expected to provide pre-sales support to Lead Consultant & the Sales Team in developing new opportunities (e.g. customer sales meetings, solution development, proposal production). The post-holder is also expected to help train our customers and to support them with any issues post implementation. From time to time, they may need to travel to customer sites within the region to support training and/or workshop activities.
The implementation of Synergi Plant and Synergi Plant RBI, often with bespoke elements, requires significant configuration and hence the need for the post-holder to have strong computing skills including a background in programming and database configuration. Note that the Synergi Plant/RBI core software product is developed by a separate team in the DNV Digital Solutions business, and a high level of interaction will often be required with that team.
This role will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop wider consulting skills working alongside some of the business’ most highly respected global consultants. It is ideally suited to someone with an IT/computing background who is looking to develop into a wider consulting role.
