Local Unit & Position Description

DNV is running different cloud-based HR Applications on a global scale to manage and support the HR processes in the DNV group. Oracle HCM Cloud (Partner) and SeerTech iLearning Plus (MyLearning) are the two largest utilized platforms in DNV supporting most of the global HR processes.

Within DNV ’s GSS organization the Global Shared Service IT (GSS IT) unit provides a full-stack managed IT operation around all means of IT services required in a global company. Within the area of GSS IT Core Applications which is responsible for Finance, HR and BI applications, the unit HR Application Competence Center is responsible to manage, run and support all global HR applications used in the group.

 

We are seeking an IT Service and Demand Manager (HR Tech)
for our team based in Gdynia, Poland.

 

The IT Service and Demand Manager HR Applications is working in the HR Applications Competence Center being responsible for the IT Service and Demand Management for the global HR Applications in DNV. The role reports to the Head of HR Applications Competence Center and works in close collaboration with the different teams in the unit as well as other teams within GSS IT on managing the IT services around the HR applications.

 

Your key tasks and deliveries will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility to manage, measure and control the stability, service continuity and performance of DNV global Cloud based HR Applications (Oracle HCM Cloud, Seertech ILearning Plus)
  • Service Request coordination and management with the cloud vendors
  • Collaboration with and supporting the contract and license management around cloud applications
  • Point of escalation within the IT service processes from 2nd level (DNV) to 3rd level (vendor) support
  • Cloud environment management (patch management coordination, Prod-2-Test copies) in conjunction with the DNV on premise landscapes
  • Single point of contact for all other IT Service managers from DNV IT applications landscape towards any HR Applications related matters
  • Close collaboration with the GSS IT Integration Team to ensure continuation and stability in the existing HR data integrations
  • Close collaboration with the configuration and development team as well as the 2nd line support to ensure service continuity
  • Participate in HR IT projects and take over project roles and responsibilities in smaller and mid-sized projects.

Position Qualifications

To maximize your chances, you need:

  • Solid knowledge on HR applications and their link to HR processes in multi-national companies, preferably on Oracle HCM Cloud (but not mandatory)
  • IT Service Management experiences (preferably on cloud applications)
  • Profound knowledge on Application Management
  • Solid IT experience and a strong interest in technology
  • Work experience in the same or a similar field would be preferable
  • IT Project experience (project member or project management, preferably in HR Application projects)
  • Professional knowledge with MS Office tools, Office 365 tools, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Knowledge on ITIL Service processes (preferably certified in ITIL)
  • Structured, analytical service minded and result focused
  • Outgoing with professional, good communication and relational skills
  • Proactive and self-driven with an efficient, but precise and conscientious working style
  • Genuine interest of the combination of IT supporting HR and complex multi-national organizations
  • Ability to both to understand complex problems and deliver solutions
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being an active team player.
