We are looking for an inspired and ambitious Senior Back End Software Developer to join our team at DNV – Digital Solutions in Stavanger. 

To be successful in this role, you should have several years of experience with developing software, including solutions deployed on the Azure platform.

As a Back End Developer, you will be part of a motivated and dynamic team of 20 software developers, software testers, product managers, and technical support engineers.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Collaboration with product managers and colleagues from development teams
• Development of Synergi Life application for on-premise and SaaS environments
• Participation in all phases of the development, from planning and design to implementation and testing
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Optimization of application performance and scalability through code refactoring and performance tuning
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your skills and knowledge

Competences required:

• M.Sc/B.Sc in computer science or software engineering
• Experience as a Back End Developer, preferably working with SaaS software
• Experience with C# and .NET Core
• Experience with SQL Server databases
• Experience with CI/CD
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with MS Azure is an advantage
• Experience with test-driven development is an advantage
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture
• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for quality and security
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English

Technical knowledge about our product is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
