Local Unit & Position Description

The PLM Section is responsible for the development, operation, and support of a Business Application which is used in different business areas in DNV based on the PLM tool Teamcenter from Siemens. We are seeking a new colleague for the team in Hamburg within the global PLM team who will work with us in Teamcenter development, configuration, and improvement initiatives.

We structured our work into packages that focus on the development of certain process areas. In your role, you will take over the responsibility for leading 3-5 of those packages.

 

In your role as PLM Project Manager, you will:

 

  • Take over technical but not disciplinary management for some of our core modules.
  • Be leading the design and development of individual packages in alignment with our architects.
  • Be the advisor and sparring partner for our business process leads when it comes to introducing, revamping, or replacing processes.
  • Ensure the packages are developed in a professional manner, according to clear requirements, with good documentation and clear testing processes.

Position Qualifications

Successful candidates should have a good understanding of the IT technical aspects as well as good experience in Teamcenter development activities. We are looking for a person with knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

  • Suitable degree and profound experience in working in a development team distributed across different development hubs with +30 team members in the PLM area
  • Experiences in Project Management
  • Experiences in Siemens Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and Java or JavaScript would be an advantage
  • Experience in the Energy industry would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
