Local Unit & Position Description

Our Safety and Risk Management Advisory Team in Benelux is assisting clients in hazard identification and risk assessment studies, from qualitative studies (HAZOP, HAZID, ...) to consequence modelling and full detailed quantitative risk assessments. Setting up and improving the safety management system of our clients is part of the work as well as analyzing incidents towards the root causes in the management system. We support our industrial customers to create safer and greener facilities.

Job content includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Participate and lead different types of projects for mid and downstream industrial client, mainly involving qualitative and quantitative risk assessment tasks 
  • Depending on your profile, contribute or lead tender processes and proposal preparation for risk management services
  • Building a network within DNV, both on the national level, with the target to perform cross learnings throughout units, and on an international level, to cross work with specialists.

 

Position Qualifications

  • University degree (Master degree or similar) in a relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Process, HSE or Mechanical)
  • 3 to 10 years of professional experience related to Process safety
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, oral and writing and including technical terms, French and/or German is a plus
  • High client and quality focus

  • Strong logical mindset and problem-solving attitude
  • Engaged work attitude
  • Good communication skills
