Local Unit & Position Description

DNV Supply Chain & Product Assurance, a growing organization, is looking for a Product Assurance Assessor. In this role you will be responsible for assessing, inspecting and certifying road products against Construction Product Regulation and pallets (and associated products) to national and international norms, and customer or project specifications.  In this position you will have a chance to interact with customers both external and internal, and actively participate in the section's effort towards efficiency and digitalization.  The right candidate will be trained for the role of service technical manager and may be considered for the role of managing a team of assessors, auditors or inspectors and support staff.

 

Scope of duties:

  • Manage, perform and deliver product certification and inspection activities and support the sales colleagues in quotations;
  • Assessing, inspecting, auditing and monitoring tests;
  • The role requires the candidate to travel for auditing between spring and autumn;
  • Reviewing documents to assure compliance with requirements;
  • Providing technical guidance to DNV’s customers;
  • Contribution to maintain, improve and streamline department’s work processes and section goals.

Position Qualifications

Basic requirements:

  • Engineering degree or relevant industry experience (construcion, ideally road construction);
  • OR you have a degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Experience with gravel, bitumen or asphalt;
  • Auditing experience, internal or external;
  • Ability to handle several projects;
  • Quality oriented & customer-centric approach;
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English. 

Preferables:

  • Completed ISO 9001 lead auditor (5 day) course, but not necessary to be an IRCA approved auditor;
  • Fluency in any other Scandinavian language.
