Business Development Manager for IT Sector (ICT)

Our certifications team in Poland is seeking a Business Development Manager for the IT Sector (ICT).

In this important role, you will identify and nurture opportunities for existing and new businesses in the sector to ensure its growth.

The position is preferably to be based in the Gdynia office. However, remote work can be considered for candidates outside the immediate Tricity area. Some travel is required based on business needs.  

In your role, you will be responsible for: 

• Identifying new sales channels and prospecting new accounts in target markets
• Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
• Monitoring and following up on opportunities, leads and outstanding quotations and ensuring an up-to-date funnel,
• Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Preparing quotations for key customers and ensuring contracts are signed and in line with DNV procedures and authorizations,
• Supporting sales team in generating and nurturing opportunities and leads,
• Cooperating with the operation department on setting the right priorities for IT (ICT) competencies development,
• Creating development plans per the scheme, forecasting sales targets and growth projections
• Attending conferences and industry events
• Auditing competencies related to the IT sector might be your advantage.

To maximize your chances, you need:

• High-level understanding of the IT (ICT) industry, its supply chain and the relevant Management Systems Standards
• Working knowledge of business assurance/third-party auditing
• The ability to analyze sales figures and write reports
• English & Polish communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with various IT programs (MS Office and PowerBi)
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Negotiating skills
