Local Unit & Position Description

DNV Iceland is looking for a Surveyor who can join our team of experienced employees.

We are the leading Classification Society in Iceland within the Maritime Industry, including the Fishing- and Fish Farming Industry.

We are mainly involved in Classification work on Fishing Vessels and  Cargo Vessels trading around Iceland, both local and global ships.

Position Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Have a degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Officer, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience would be an advantage
  • Passion for working closely with customers, self-driven and solution-oriented. 
  • Open to change, proactive, and with a service-minded attitude 
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team. 
  • Committed to safety, environment and quality
  • Good communication skills in Icelandic and English.
