DNV Business Assurance Group is seeking a Product Manager (PM) FSC/ISCC to join our Global Technical HUB (GTH) team.
DNV Business Assurance Global Technical HUB (GTH), part of Global Operations & Technical, is responsible for managing global accreditation and compliance governance in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Product Manager in GTH is part of a global MSC technical team and works closely with the market unit Sales and the Operations departments.
The PM is responsible for the governance of a specific scheme in DNV Business Assurance during its operational life, following the development process as described in the DNV procedures.
The function report to GTH MSC Manager.
The main objectives of the PM FSC/ISCC are to understand the requirements set by the standard owner and to ensure that the FSC/ISCC procedures are the basis for a seamless service delivery to the customer.
Timely availability of certification scheme updates and new developments to the market is of utmost importance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Main point of contact for the assigned schemes;
- Monitoring and reporting on (new) developments, including related standards;
- Development of technical guidance/ directions and compliant procedures;
- Reviewing and reporting on the quality of certification work delivered by DNV Business Assurance market units worldwide and actively contributing to maintaining the quality level achieved. The work includes all types of technical review work and decisions relating to competence, proposals, auditor reporting, project sampling, certification and other tasks necessary to ensure compliance;
- Managing of accreditation and scheme owner requirements and activities, including compliance and quality monitoring, internal and external audit management, responding to findings, etc.;
- Leading the support team on FSC/ISCC tasks;
- Maintaining own auditor qualifications through audits;
- Ensure that the independent nature of DNV Business Assurance is never compromised.

The Global Centre Finance delivers high quality services to North America, South Asia and Middle East countries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Record to Report processes. Services are rendered in close collaboration with the GSS Finance Regional Centers, together developing the Global Shared Service Finance function for DNV.
We are seeking Record to Report Accountant for the Global Centre GSS Finance based in Pune, India.
R2R Accountant will be reporting to the Team Leader of R2R section. The R2R Accountant will be ensuring general ledger accounting activities are performed on time, accurately and in compliance with corporate guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you are to be a team player, with ability to create an atmosphere of motivation and enthusiasm. You will be playing a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the R2R processes, supporting respective Team Leader of R2R section. Expectations from the R2R Accountant is to perform tasks independently and to provide guidance & support to other team members..
Key Tasks
- Month end closing of legal entities and internal reporting, including year-end reporting in compliance with company accounting policies and the application of IFRS
- Preparation and posting journal entries and accounting corrections/reclassifications to ensure accurate accounting records (including fixed assets)
- Working closely with other units to ensure accruals are accurate and complete
- Dealing with daily accounting matters, cooperating with Regional Center, supporting Team Leader
- Coordination of accounting matters with Regional Legal Entity Accountant s
- Supporting (including knowledge sharing) less experienced team members
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations (including cash at bank)
- Reconciling and confirming intercompany balances within the DNV Group
- Completing or supporting preparation of required VAT filing
- Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by Global Center management or Regional Center
- Developing, maintaining and updating Record to Report related process documentation
- Providing internal and external audit support, as required
