What You'll Do
- Responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day activities within managing 2nd party inspections and relationships between DNV Coordinators in other offices and inspectors as per contractual obligations, focusing on key accounts
- Responsible to support key projects requirements and providing quality services, managing costs efficiently
- Source qualified Inspectors to fulfil Client requests
- Submit Inspector CVs to Clients and monitor approval
- Prepare job assignments in iI2 (production tool) and send assignments to qualified inspectors
- Mobilize resources for the inspection visits and update relevant calendars
- Monitor milestones and deadlines for timely delivery of work
- Responsible for the review of Inspection Reports within 12 hours of receipt from the Inspector and issue to the Client within specified deadlines
- Review and approve / reject timesheets and expenses in iI2
- Liaise with technical colleagues in case of any technical issues identified in the report and/or during the inspection activity
- Establish and maintain communication with inspection network: Inspectors, Vendors and other internal DNV offices
- Ensure that inspection activities are performed according to Client expectations and give required level of profitability

Area Benelux & France is part of the Maritime Region West Europe, consisting of a team of approximately 73 committed employees taking care of various technical services. These services are related to the following disciplines:
CMC - Certification of Materials and Components for vessels and offshore installations.
NB - New Building classification for vessels and offshore installations.
The Area is collaborating closely with the Regional FiS - Fleet in Service organization.

We are looking for an Electrical Surveyor to join our NB team in France based in the Saint Nazaire Area. Main activities take place at Chantiers de l’Atlantique and other locations in the West coast of France.
Main responsibilities:
- Be part of DNV team(s) surveying our new building vessel project(s) in the country, including activities through all project phases and disciplines, from planning to close-out
- Application and interpretation of International and Classification Rules and regulations related to the maritime industry.
- Perform work which involves conventional engineering practices but may include complex problems, such as the ability to identify conflicting integration designs in Electrical and automation systems for Maritime.
- Be responsible for, but not limited to, the electrical, automation and navigation disciplines during the new building of the cruise vessel from a Classification point of view.
