Summary/Objective The HR Advisor and Recruiter (TAS, Talent Acquisition Specialist) is a dual 50/50 role, responsible for aligning GSS HR services and functional teams with complex HR topics or projects and critical recruitment needs for designated business units, serving Spain and Portugal. - 50% of the time as a consultant to management and Business Area HR (“BA HR”) on human resource-related issues within their competency, or arranges consultation with experts as necessary, acting as a GSS HR Key Account Manager to their assigned business units and change agent within GSS HR, to ensure SLA defined services are being performed effectively and efficiently. Main responsibilities of this dual role: As HR Advisor: - Conduct regular meetings with assigned business unit BA HR and Senior Management to discuss important events, industry/environmental changes, etc. that will have impact within GSS and within the Business Area, securing inclusion in assigned business units’ management team meetings as appropriate. - Consult with line management and Business HR, providing HR guidance when appropriate: Provide a consultancy and advisory service to management and staff on human resource management issues including the interpretation of relevant acts, regulations, legislation, policies and procedures. - Assist with the review, updating and distribution of policies including identifying and implementing new procedures and local benefits. - Support business units restructures and any M&A processes and harmonization of labor conditions - Maintain generalist knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, to support and guide the global center teams (Payroll, Operation, Talent Acquisition) where required with data review and local advice for i.e. leave management or pension/social security queries. - Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) - Provide guidance and input on policy interpretation, timing and process for GSS HR services, thus contributing to the development of our processes and our people: Collaborate with TAS colleagues in GSS HR team, sharing updates and best practices, to build common knowledge and secure consistent quality service is provided to our internal clients. - Identify critical issues within business units or GSS HR that need visibility of GSS HR Senior Leadership Team and address/recommend solutions as appropriate. - Lead or support on GSS HR department programs such as Regional Mentorship, Knowledge Article Database and Template Database. - Quality control of information published to employees and managers via the intranet an ad hoc quality control on delivered services jointly with global center. - Support in keeping our services and practices compliant with internal and external regulations such as GDPR, ISO27001 and local laws. - Manage and support key HR initiatives, ad-hoc local or global projects, as required. You will be working with diverse customers and colleagues and the role offers an opportunity to be involved in other energy technology related projects.   You will be located on our Shanghai office and reporting to the Storage Technology Team Leader for APAC.   DNV’s APAC Storage Team is growing quickly to meet the expanding demand for energy storage advisory services in the region. We provide technical reivew and bankablity on products of PCS, battery cell and battery energy storage system. We also support utilities, regulators, developers, owners and lenders with feasibility studies, technical due diligence, conceptual design & procurement support, and independent technical advisory services.   In this role you will have a dual responsibility, focusing on both being actively involved in the delivery of (mostly) energy storage (BESS) related projects and actively supporting the development of the service portfolio for BESS.   You would be using your technical expertise for supporting your colleagues in the team with your knowledge on energy storage technologies, technical due diligence, conceptual design, technical specifications, procurement support, testing and commissioning across the APAC region.   Most of the work will be desk based, but (national and international) travel for site and customer factory visits will be required at times (estimated at 25% to 35% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).   Main duties will include but are not limited to:   - Execute and/or manage energy storage related advisory projects, including technology review, technical due diligence, technical specifications, procurement support, testing and commissioning, report writing, presentations, courses, etc. - Support the development and maintenance of services and products related to Energy Storage. - Ensure distribution of knowledge amongst relevant colleagues. - Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
