After growing and strengthening our approach on training services we are now looking for a proactive and experienced Manager to lead and manage our growth structurally.   The Global Training BD Manager will be part of the Market & Industry team and will report to the Market & Industry Director.   Key work areas and responsibilities: - Development and implementation of training business plans and strategy for Business Assurance helping achievement of sales targets and profitability of training services; - Help countries in defining their Sales planning with the objective to maximise effectiveness in building sales pipeline; - Work with the Country Sales Managers and Country Training Managers and peers on the development of a comprehensive business development strategy for Training - Demonstrating key leadership behaviours of foresight, customer centricity, respect/ care and result orientation; - Proactive management of training representative of the different countries ensuring they hit their targets, including creating a high-performance culture and help both Country Sales Managers improve performance of their teams in selling training and Country Training Managers improving performance of their teams in delivering with the correct timeline and profitability; - Contributing to a forecasting process and follow up Countries for the respective plans and actions; - Ensuring that all aspects of sales and delivery activities are recorded according to Business Area requirements; - Drive and manage new Training Services development at a global level, helping countries developing their own services at a local level  - Identify business development opportunities, support sales and delivery teams to propose new business, and drive such opportunities from concept to implementation and execution of such plans and tracking outcomes. - Identify opportunities for promotions and additional services, that will lead to an increase in sales and works with the Sales and Delivery teams to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns and objectives. - Review weekly, monthly and quarterly growth objectives and specifically the results for target countries and accounts and help countries prepare action plans where improvement is needed - Help and coordinate developing new Channels for Selling and Delivering Training Services - Help Key Customer Managers to work on Training Services proposition towards own key customers; - Oversee Training business to achieve and exceed delivery expectations.

We’re looking for a multi-skilled Technician with previous industry experience to join our Project Delivery team in an exciting role, in which you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining high-demonstration test facilities. It assumes a high level of responsibility, supporting the technical operation of the DNV Spadeadam Hazard Awareness Courses. Successful Technicians are fast learners and self-motivated, independent workers. They have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions. Duties include: - Assistance in planning demonstration days alongside the HAC Facilitator. - Pre-set up off all demonstration rigs each day ready for courses. - Operation of demonstration gas rigs for demonstration purposes including Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Propane, Ethane, Nitrogen and liquid systems such as Diesel, Petrol, Kerosene, LNG. - General maintenance and upkeep of all demonstration rigs. - Pressure systems maintenance of demonstrations rigs under the supervision of the Pressure Systems Engineer. - Technical assistance to the Project Team in the construction and development of new test rigs; including the installation of pipework systems, fabrication welding, test procedures and safety systems.

In addition to delivery, you will be required to innovate in the measurements field – through application of novel instrumentation solutions and analysis techniques.   Specifically, your responsibilities include: - Manage the costing, deployment, acquisition and analysis of measurements on Projects at Spadeadam - Standardised measurements are formalised and guidance to others provisioned - Provide input to project bids in terms of techniques and pricing - Produce informed instrumentation layouts for experimental setup - Develop novel tools and techniques for measurements - Develop novel tools and techniques for analysis of measurement data - Project measurement risks are identified and eliminated or minimised - Continuous improvement through generic lessons learnt from post-project review - Develop Project Management skills with aim to manage whole projects - Communicate measurements through internal reviews, client meetings, conference and journal papers and presentations
