As part of DNV’s Energy Systems Offshore Technology business area, our Jack-Up, Geotechnical and Metocean team is at the forefront of implementing the green energy transition around the world today. Our team of 20 structural, geotechnical and metocean engineers provides sophisticated solutions and engineering assessments to support offshore renewable energy installation projects around the globe, as well as ensuring safe offshore operations for our oil and gas customers. The team has a focus on the installation and operation of jack-up vessels that are currently used to install wind turbines and perform oil and gas activities offshore.   We are seeking a talented and motivated structural engineer to join us in delivering innovative and safe assessments of these jack-ups to maximise the operability of the vessels whilst ensuring that they have an appropriate factor of safety against wind, wave, current and seismic loading. You will work within a team on the structural and dynamic analysis of all types of jack-up platforms and associated structures including finite element modelling of complex structures. The M&R department consists of three sections i.e. Asset Data Analytics (ADA), Energy Strategy Advisory (ESA) & Transactions & Business Advisory (T&BA).   Markets & Risk Department combines multidisciplinary experts from oil & gas, power and renewable energy backgrounds to support businesses throughout their Energy Transition journey, through advice in the following areas: - Finance & Transactions   - Strategy & Roadmaps  - Policy & Regulation  - Innovation  - HSE - Asset Integrity - Operations - ESG DNV's Transactions Advisory team advises financial institutions (infrastructure funds, private equity, investment banks etc.) and Oil & Gas/ Utility companies on due diligence projects across buy side, sell side, and project finance deals. The team works closely with colleagues across company’s advisory services leveraging on the organisation’s broader technical expertise and global footprint.   Due to the increase in the number of transactions in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors, we are expanding the size of our team and have a need to recruit an ESG Consultant in order to support the growth of our transactions advisory business.   Key Tasks: - Conduct ESG (environmental, social, governance) due diligence studies for assets in the Infrastructure, Energy and Oil and Gas sectors. - Creating and delivering ESG Strategies and sustainability programmes, including policy and procedures. - Performing ESG materiality assessments for companies or portfolio level. - Aiding the implementation of ESG frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure of customers.   - Evaluation of ESG performance of companies in the relevant sectors (as described above).   - Providing key research, analysis and advisory insight and support to our customers. - Evaluation of stakeholder engagement, social studies, social risk assessment process against international standards e.g. ISO26001 and International Labour Organisation.

The basis for performance of the services provided by this unit is multi-discipline and diverse knowledge within materials-, welding- and inspection technology. The successful candidates should preferably have good knowledge of welding and preferably also NDT techniques and / or coating processes. It is also valuable to have knowledge of HSE, risk and quality processes.   We have a varied mix of projects, ranging from small projects of only a few days to large multi-million dollar projects operating in several countries.
