RC is the global market leader in the Renewables Certification market and is involved in 80% of Project Certification for offshore wind parks including offshore substations in the world.   The Offshore Substations team delivers services related to the project certification of electrical installation of offshore substations and converter platforms, wind turbines and electrical design of subsea cables in offshore Wind Farms. We provide this as a global service and cover all steps in the certification process from review of early designs to design verification, fabrication surveillance, commissioning, and periodic inspection of installations in operation. We are looking for experienced electrical engineers, with a strong profile and interest in working with renewable energy. Moreover, this team works with offshore subsea cable design and wind turbines. We are looking to strengthen our team with a consultant located in Hamburg who will be part of the Northern Europe team of pipeline operations and integrity specialists. The pipeline operations team spans experts in Oslo, Hamburg and Groningen who collaborate closely to support energy companies, suppliers, authorities, and other industry players as an independent service provider. We are recognized as the leading advisors providing operational-phase assurance for pipelines and other assets, both onshore and offshore, throughout their lifecycle from concept, through operations and re-qualification, to decommissioning.   The pipeline operations team delivers a broad suite of services within condition assessments and maintenance planning, technology development and qualification of e.g. pipelines for hydrogen and CO2 transport, technical assistance and operational support, and fitness for service assessments of e.g. gas transport and storage.   It is an exciting time to join!– the demand for our services is growing rapidly as countries in Europe and beyond look to deliver their climate commitments, and you will have access to some of the world’s leading experts in this field.    Your tasks include: - Deliver technical solutions and services to customer challenges related broadly to pipelines and associated systems. This can include: - Technical feasibility and fitness for service assessments for e.g. hydrogen and CO2 transport - Technology development, joint industry projects and re-qualification - Asset and integrity management - Condition assessments and maintenance planning - Lead and support the production of technical reports for customers, where possible identifying further business opportunities for DNV - Playing a role in targeted business development efforts through proposal development and fostering positive relationships with existing and new clients. - Actively contribute to service delivery as specialist and / or project manager.   We are also looking to strengthen our team with a team lead who can drive business operations to meet customers’ expectations, while also continuously improving the way we work. Reporting directly to the Director GSS Finance Operations, the role based at Høvik, will be responsible for delivering GSS Finance services across all Business Areas, to approx. 2,400 DNV employees operating across Norway and Nordic countries as well as the Baltics. You will provide strong leadership to a team of finance professionals seated in Norway and indirectly in the Global Center Gdynia.     The role will have visibility & interaction on a regular basis with the GSS ELT members, Group Finance leadership, and importantly manage all local stakeholder engagement with respective Country Chairs and Business Area leadership. Furthermore, it is expected to be an active contributor in the Global GSS Finance Leadership Team, be a sparring partner for your peer regional managers and collaborate on the overall GSS Finance Annual Operating Plans and projects.   Leading the GSS Finance team within the region, the role requires excellent interpersonal skills and continual development of the talent base, as well as a strong team ethic focused on continual process improvement and partnership with all BA finance teams and across all GSS functional streams.   Working in close cooperation with the GSS Global Centre in Gdynia core finance services will be provided across the process streams Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash, Record to Report and Cash Disbursement. Working closely with the Country Chairs it is imperative that GSS Finance ensures that the stewardship & statutory responsibilities within the legal entity structure are fulfilled smoothly with a strong emphasis on quality & control.   The key priorities over the next years will be maturing the Business Partnership towards the Business Areas, the Legal Entity Efficiency Programme (LEEP), potential M&A projects as well as digital initiatives running globally within DNV, GSS and GSS Finance.   Primary responsibilities: - Provide leadership, & development coaching, to a team of finance professionals. - Provide leadership direction, adequate resources, and project sponsorship for the global and regional initiatives (e.g. LEEP, M&A). - Provide collaborative communication & coordination with the Global Centre leadership team. - Development of the regional Annual Operating Plan for GSS Finance including alignment & engagement with all local Business Area & Country Chair stakeholders. - Ensure external Group audit clearance is achieved in a timely manner for all in scope legal entities in the region. - Ensure that all local statutory, regulatory & tax filings are completed on a timely basis and filed with the appropriate bodies. - Provide statutory & tax advice to business area projects as part of the global tax network. - Maintain good relationships with external tax offices, & 3rd party providers such as KPMG, PWC or Deloitte. - Monitor key financial internal controls within the end to end finance processes. - Ensure cash is collected from our customers in a timely manner and in line with global and business area specific agreements.

We therefore want to supplement our team with graduate engineers.   Our unit is involved in the following type of units: - wind turbine installation units; - floating offshore wind turbines; - offshore fish farms; - ship-shaped units (production, storage- and offloading, well intervention and drilling); - semi-submersibles; - jack-ups. The above activities are mainly related to newbuilding but also includes conversions and modifications of existing units. We are also responsible for follow-up of the units in operation. This is carried out from a dedicated team with Fleet Responsible engineers.

DNV’s SEMELA Solar & Storage Team is growing quickly to meet the region's expanding demand for expert solar and storage advisory services. We support utilities, regulators, developers, owners, and lenders with feasibility studies, technical due diligence, conceptual design & procurement support, and independent technical advisory services for either owner, lender, or off-taker/procurer/regulator.   In this role, you will have a dual responsibility, focusing on helping deliver solar and storage-related projects and being involved in the service portfolio development and maintenance through internal development projects and initiatives. Additionally, you will support business development activities for energy storage-related opportunities in the Central American region, being the first point of contact for customers with energy storage projects.   Most of the work will be desk-based, but (national and international) travel for on-site and customer visits will be required at times (estimated at 5% to 20% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).   You would be the technical expert supporting your colleagues in the team with your knowledge of energy storage technologies, technical due diligence, conceptual design, technical specifications, procurement support, EPC/O&M contract review, design review, construction progress monitoring, testing, and commissioning across the SEMELA region.   This position is based in our DNV office in Mexico City, Mexico.
