The‘consultant hydrogen value chain and technologies’ will be part of a team of specialists focused on decarbonized gas in the energy transition. The team delivers a broad suite of services that offer ways to streamline and de-risk the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to support the complete hydrogen value chain – from production of both green and blue hydrogen, transportation, and storage, to its uses in various applications.

Tasks include:
- Develop and deliver technical solutions and services to customer challengesregarding the hydrogen value chain.This will include:

- Contribute to the production of technical reports for customers, where possible identifying further business opportunities for DNV.

In this role, you will apply a combination of technical depth and breadth, critical thinking, modeling and simulation, and analysis to understand complex, often multi-domain problem areas to provide competitive analysis of competing technologies, decision insight, and communicate options of trade-offs to grow a business supporting our customers through all their current and future hydrogen needs. The role offers networks to onboard new customers and services and seeks ways to delight existing customers and ensure repeat business.
They will work closely on commercial opportunities to strengthen and expand the business and adapt the service offerings to respond to our customers' greatest needs. They will partner with key account managers and regional segment managers to deliver an excellent customer experience while stimulating collaboration within their department and across the organization.
This position will preferably be based out of our Seattle office. Remote work will also be considered from anywhere in the continental U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage a deep understanding of low-carbon fuel technologies and use economic modeling to predict and deliver scenarios that enable strategic customer decision-making
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing innovative techno-economic models and life cycle assessments that support strategic business objectives and customer needs
- Develop and maintain techno-economic models to evaluate different technologies for hydrogen, low carbon fuel production, and applications to help guide customers

DNV is seeking an experienced GIS professional to provide Esri related technical support to our team of software engineers in the Pipeline Product Center. This team of software engineers is responsible for a broad range of software products for the global energy market that support the safe and efficient operations of our clients’ pipeline networks and infrastructure. These products are highly integrated with our clients’ GIS installations.
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance in the usage of ArcGIS Pro and Utility Network. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining our internal ArcGIS Enterprise deployment and the GIS datasets used by the product team for testing and demonstrations.

In the Certification of R&D projects in accordance with RD 1432/2003 and/or UNE 166001, DNV GL seeks to provide legal certainty to companies when applying the existing tax deductions in the Spanish legal system. For this, the contents and formats established in said regulations must be followed and the activities must be classified in Research and Development and/or technological innovation.
