The team works closely with colleagues across DNV ’s advisory services leveraging on the organisation’s broader technical expertise and global footprint. Due to the increase in the number of transactions in the Energy and Utilities sectors, we are expanding the size of our team and have an urgent need to recruit a Due Diligence Consultant in order to support the growth of our transactions advisory business.   The Role We have an immediate need for a Consultant to join our Transactions & Business Advisory team in London. The team has a focus on the Energy Systems, Oil & Gas and Utilities (power, water) sectors and we are aiming for continued high growth in our services within those sectors.   The nature of our business means that staff work on a wide range of deal types and sectors. Transactions advisory is by nature highly challenging and fast-paced. Individuals are expected to be flexible and to work according to the needs of the business.   The candidates should have between 2 and 10 years experience in technical role within the following industries: Energy value Chain, Power Generation (including renewables), Green Technologies and Energy Transition, Oil and Gas. Previous experience of due diligence in a consultancy environment would be an advantage. Experience in Market Research and Commercial Studies would also be beneficial.    Responsibilities  As a Consultant, you will be expected to contribute to the Transactions Advisory group: - Manage the delivery of multiple projects; - Contribute to the timely delivery of projects while meeting the high-quality requirements of our clients; - Data analysis  to determine findings and draw conclusions and develop recommendations for our clients; - Report writing and develop presentation materials to a high standard; - Support and contribute to the sales process for the Transactions Advisory team including bid development, customer interaction and market research; - Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
