As a Power Systems Expertin the Power Grids APACteam, you will act as the trusted advisor and help our customers to connect more renewables to the grid andsecure and improve the affordability, sustainability and reliability of Power Systems within Korea and the broader Asia Pacific Region  You will be involved in national and international - regional projects where you will collaborate with otherprofessionals and specialists within DNV and to provide specialized and innovative technical consultancy services to our utility and industrial customers in the Energy sector.   Youwill be responsible for the acquisition, management and execution of projects.You will analyse and provide technical advice to customers on how to manage, operate and maintain their assets in the most optimal, secure and reliable way.Understanding the market, technical know-how, and delivering high quality contents are key characteristics of aPower Systems Expert within our team.The ideal candidate shall have in-depth knowledge in transmission, distribution systems or Power Grids equipment such as transformers, cables and HVDC technology.   This role has business development responsibilities which includes working within the team to establish long-term customer relationships, keeping abreast of industry needs and trends, as well as participation in industry events to ensure that DNV's service offerings are well-known and well-respected in the power and renewables industry.  As we are looking to grow our team in variety of areas, so if you have skills and experience working in several or more areas please do apply:  - Transforming in-depth technical knowledge, curiosity and hands-on high voltage equipment experience, into clear customer solutions and/or solid business opportunities.  - Knowledge of power system engineering and grid integration of conventional and non-conventional generators  - Providing technical assurance and advice to our customers related to their high voltage electricity transmission & distribution equipment and systems (Substations, Transformers andSwitchgears etc.)  - Participating in field tasks of substation diagnostics, condition assessment, analyse and interpret measurementand diagnostic results obtained.  - Performing inspection and witnessing of factory tests for Power Grids equipment  - Experience in electrical integration of renewable power generation and grid codes  - Familiars with Power Systems Analysis tools such as PSS®E,PSCAD and PowerFactory  - Desire and the ability to understand and maintain an overview of a wide range of advanced technical domains such as generation control tuning, ancillary services, primary design, protection and HVDC  - As the local market has increasing focus on offshore wind project developments, it is desirable to have exposure to offshore electrical systems.  - Owners Engineering and/or Project Due Diligence for Power Systems projects

We are looking for a proactive Line Engineer who is eager to learn and has the ambition to become a design expert for overhead lines. In order to help our customers, located worldwide, secure and improve the affordability, sustainability and reliability of their Transmission & Distribution network. Our customer network includes, for example, TenneT, RWE, Vattenfall, CLP (Hong Kong) and SEC (Saudi Arabia). You will be part of the Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT) advisory team in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The TDT team includes over 50 professionals and is continuously growing. The team is a mix of PhD, MSc and BSc levels with different backgrounds and various cultures. Together we deliver specialized and innovative consultancy services to our customers, which are mainly transmission and distribution system operators, power utilities and industries. We are responsible, among other things, for drawing up designs and specifications for systems and constructions for high-voltage transmission and distribution, such as switching stations (substations), HVDC installations (interconnectors), high-voltage connections (towers or cables). During the implementation phase of projects, we regularly assume the role of “owner's engineer”, where we are responsible on behalf of the client for the quality control of the services and equipment provided by others. Tasks And Responsibilities You will be part of the Overhead Line (OHL) team in TDT. This expertise cluster focus on the design of overhead line as well interface structures with substation related to carrying out engineering, design tasks and advice for high-voltage structures and / or substations for electrical transmission and distribution.
