What You’ll Do
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues from product management, software development, advisory services, and other stakeholder groups to prioritize and maintain the software development backlog for one or more agile teams
- Ensure that product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by writing detailed product requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation
- Act as a key participant in agile (Scrum) events, including sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and product backlog refinement
- Manage sprints and epics by developing user stories and acceptance criteria, estimate effort in collaboration with development teams, set priorities with input from customers and stakeholders, and oversee quality assurance and user acceptance testing
- Contribute to product transparency by reporting on KPIs, sprint/release progress, and status updates to stakeholders and the team
- Implement and maintain modern best practices across agile teams, with a key focus on user-centered design
- Leverage feedback and other data to support prioritization decisions
- Develop prototypes, design and run experiments, share learnings, and rapidly iterate

What You’ll Do
- Lead distributed software development teams, set goals and objectives, assign tasks, and ensure each team member is meeting their responsibilities towards the successful delivery of software
- Participate in software development projects as required, including coding, architecting, testing, and debugging
- Identify talent needs within the team and develop a plan for recruitment and professional development
- Develop and manage development resource allocations to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Coach and mentor team members, provide guidance and support, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Ensure that all software development projects are completed to a high standard of quality, and that they meet the requirements of the project stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects, including issues related to software security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance

- Contribute to product transparency by reporting on KPIs, product development progress, and status updates to stakeholders and the team
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project dependencies, risks, and issues
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with product teams, software teams, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
