Currently RC consists of 230+ experts with locations in Beijing, Boston, Copenhagen, Dresden, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Høvik, London, Busan, Shanghai and Taipei. RC is the global market leader in the Renewables Certification market and is involved in 80% of Project Certification for offshore wind parks including offshore substations in the world.   For Type and Component certification department, we are currently looking for a dedicated structural engineer with a strong profile and keen interest in working in renewable energy. We (Turbine Engineering section) consist of 13 technical experts/project managers who are dealing with Type and Component Certification and Material Type Approvals for non-metallic materials. We are also very active doing the shop approvals, repair shop approvals and lab approvals for wind turbine suppliers. As an enthusiastic engineer, the main focus of the work will be on the design reviews and manufacturing inspections of wind turbine structural components and project management of Type and Component Certification. Areas of responsibility and tasks include, but are not limited to: - Structural verification of wind turbine structural components using commercial Finite Element Analysis software as well as in-house software for specific tasks. - Assessment of customers’ drawings and technical specifications. - Inspection activities including manufacturing, witnessing of component testing etc. - Assessment of material tests and design methodologies for wind turbine components. - Project management for Type and component certification.
