DNV – Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Hydrogen & Low Carbon Fuels team. In this role, you will work with a group of process engineers supporting other colleagues in identifying customizable solutions to clients’ challenges in their energy transition endeavors. Your contributions will help maintain DNV’s know-how around hydrogen as a fuel and feed to other processes. This know-how will readily respond to clients’ requests in a fast-paced environment.   DNV – Energy Systems – Hydrogen & Low Carbon Fuel aspires to become the preferred business partner to support customers in mitigating their risks by providing high-quality due diligence studies focusing on green hydrogen production and its integration into a supply chain. As part of DNV’s Renewables service area and the Solar & Battery Storage section in the Northern Europe region, the Solar Engineer will work along with other technical professionals to provide technical consulting services. The position is based in the Power Quality Section which is part of DNV Energy, Renewables Measurements.   The Power Quality Section, including electrical engineers, technicians, and support staff, is active in the area of grid code compliance performance of renewable energy generation units like on- and offshore wind power plants, solar inverters, or combined heat and power engines being used in electricity generation.   The Power Quality Section carries out fault ride-through (FRT) tests as well as power quality (PQ) measurements around the globe with a focus on the home region of Northern Europe.   We are looking for a Junior Measurement Engineer for Grid Code Compliance who mostly will be responsible for electrical grid code compliance measurement projects on renewable energy sources.   The main responsibilities comprise project management which includes customer interactions. This position will ideally be based in our DNV office in Albuquerque (NM) in US.   What You’ll Do - Review and verify technical merits of business energy efficiency and EV charging station incentive applications, including compliance with program terms, verification of technical specifications, and calculations of energy savings - Perform customer site inspections to verify the installation of EV charging stations, energy efficient equipment, and associated infrastructure. Interact with customers to address questions or concerns about installed equipment or programmatic information - Perform database queries and program data analysis to verify application details - Review detailed engineering specifications and drawings - Provide technical assistance in the form of trainings, formal presentations, and one-on-one face time to support project implementation for participating customers and Trade Allies - Respond to all technical inquiries regarding utility programs, services, and incentives relating to energy efficiency and EV charging station incentives - Interact proactively and professionally with customers and contractors to drive program participation while answering questions regarding program opportunities, program services, and current offerings - Support and promote relationships with industry and solution partners to maximize project implementation and sustain a robust pipeline more than minimum program participation goals - Provide flexible support to other team members on an as-needed basis - Work in a safe manner with attention to detail

Team members provide technical advice to customers throughout the energy value chain.   We are now recruiting a Senior / Principal Offshore Wind Engineer with prior knowledge in renewable electricity generation, transport or storage, specifically related to offshore wind systems.    The role is permanent and initially ideally based in Hamburg or Oldenburg, with options to work from other DNV offices in Denmark, Poland or the Netherlands later on.The successful applicant will have a primary focus on the German wind market but will be working closely in collaboration with our Northern Europe team and colleagues around the globe to provide energy consulting services.
