Summary/Objective
The HR Advisor and Recruiter (TAS, Talent Acquisition Specialist) is a dual 50/50 role, responsible for aligning GSS HR services and functional teams with complex HR topics or projects and critical recruitment needs for designated business units, serving Spain and Portugal.

As HR Advisor:
- Conduct regular meetings with assigned business unit BA HR and Senior Management to discuss important events, industry/environmental changes, etc. that will have impact within GSS and within the Business Area, securing inclusion in assigned business units’ management team meetings as appropriate.

DNV – Digital Solutions Consulting team is seeking a Gas and/or Liquids Pipeline Engineer. Tasks will be related to implementation and support of the DNV Synergi Pipeline Hydraulics product line including Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS) primarily through the implementation, development and tuning of hydraulic pipeline simulation models for transmission pipeline systems. Tasks may also be related to the implementation and support of Synergi Liquids primarily through the implementation and development of hydraulic pipeline simulation models for the water distribution industry. Engineering analysis of natural gas distribution systems may also fall into the project portfolio for this position.
The position will be hybrid based in our Katy TX offices.
Performs hydraulic simulations and interpreting results from the computational pipeline models.
Collects and interprets data for pipeline systems to be modeled.
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields, particularly hydraulic analysis.
Employs pipeline hydraulic flow principles and fluid heat transfer principles.
Utilizes advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of their field and related sciences and disciplines.

- Participates in technical implementation projects

What You’ll Do
- Initiate and coordinate the technical review process among internal specialists including civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology, and permitting teams, and synthesizing and writing due diligence reports
