DNV – Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Hydrogen & Low Carbon Fuels team. In this role, you will work with a group of process engineers supporting other colleagues in identifying customizable solutions to clients’ challenges in their energy transition endeavors. Your contributions will help maintain DNV’s know-how around hydrogen as a fuel and feed to other processes. This know-how will readily respond to clients’ requests in a fast-paced environment.   DNV – Energy Systems – Hydrogen & Low Carbon Fuel aspires to become the preferred business partner to support customers in mitigating their risks by providing high-quality due diligence studies focusing on green hydrogen production and its integration into a supply chain. Among the challenges the senior project engineer in the team will face is representing customers during the several phases of electrolyzer deployment projects.   The first preference for this role is the Seattle office. As part of DNV’s Renewables service area and the Solar & Battery Storage section in the Northern Europe region, the Solar Engineer will work along with other technical professionals to provide technical consulting services. The Candidate will have the opportunity to learn technical aspects of the solar PV plants by being involved in various projects, performing Energy Production Assessments, site visits, feasibility studies, contractual terms review, tender process preparation and management, construction and operation monitoring. The role also has elements of business development, marketing and sales supporting responsibilities. This includes working cohesively within the region to establish long-term customer relationships, keeping abreast of industry needs and trends, as well as participation in industry events to ensure that DNV's service offerings are well-known and well-respected in the power industry. DNV Singapore Approval Centre is responsible for classification services for mobile offshore units, offshore support vessels, and related equipment certification within Asia and beyond. The section, which consists of a team of structural and system engineers, now seeks a Senior Marine, Process and Safety System Approval Engineer to meet new project needs in serving the evolving offshore energy industry.   Responsibilities: - Design review of engineering documents related to marine, process systems, and fire safety disciplines of mobile offshore units (ship-shaped, semi-sub, self-elevating type) and offshore support vessels, to verify compliance with applicable rules, standards and other contractual requirements - Project management - Technical support to surveyors and business development team

The position is based in the Power Quality Section which is part of DNV Energy, Renewables Measurements.   The Power Quality Section, including electrical engineers, technicians, and support staff, is active in the area of grid code compliance performance of renewable energy generation units like on- and offshore wind power plants, solar inverters, or combined heat and power engines being used in electricity generation.   The Power Quality Section carries out fault ride-through (FRT) tests as well as power quality (PQ) measurements around the globe with a focus on the home region of Northern Europe.   We are looking for a Junior Measurement Engineer for Grid Code Compliance who mostly will be responsible for electrical grid code compliance measurement projects on renewable energy sources.   The main responsibilities comprise project management which includes customer interactions. The department is overall responsible for DATE/ Technical helpdesk and Remote Surveys. DATE Centre Asia is a branch/satellite of Technical Support Norway. Its main task is to provide technical support to Fleet in service-related questions from internal and external customers within the sections area of expertise, and to provide Remote Surveys using remote collaboration technology.
