The Noise and Vibration section The Noise and Vibration section is performing noise and vibration analyses and measurements, mainly on consultancy basis for designers, yards, owners and energy companies, as well as giving support to DNV’s maritime and offshore activities. The section is internationally renowned with its unique competence and provides services on analyses and trouble-shooting measurements worldwide. We are currently seeking new colleagues to support service deliveries within one or more of the following areas: - Noise/acoustics: Noise assessments of ships and offshore units, including practical solutions on building principles. ODEON, SoundPLAN and inhouse tools. - Propeller excitation/CFD calculations: Propeller excitation predictions based on CFD and inhouse tools. Practical solutions on reducing the propeller excitation on various vessel types - Underwater noise: Predictions of underwater noise emissions from ships. - Vibration/dynamic FE calculations: Vibration analyses of ships and offshore units utilizing both inhouse and public tools, e.g. GeniE, SESAM. - Noise and vibration measurements: Verification and troubleshooting measurements onboard all types of ships and offshore units worldwide.   The right candidate will contribute to the success of our team through focus on theoretical calculations as well as full scale measurements onboard ships and offshore units. Troubleshooting and evaluations of noise and vibration issues will be key tasks. The job also includes development of new services and markets. Offshore Class is part of Business Area Maritime and is a global operation responsible for all floating offshore installations. This includes design approval of equipement and new-building, construction- and in-service follow-up. It implies that we deliver an assurance scheme which follows the units all the way from early design phase to decommissioning.   Traditionally we have been involved with energy installations such as e.g. drilling-, production-, support- and accommodation units, but more and more relevant is emerging markets such as wind turbine installation units, floating windmills and offshore fish-farms. The focus of the section is to manage, develop, operate support and maintain DNV’s global integration and master data management services. These are key capabilities in DNV’s common global IT platform.  In this role, you will have an impact on how we develop new automation and productivity solutions using the latest Blue Prism technologies.    In the RPA Engineer role you will: - participate in projects as a developer of bots; - develop new RPA solutions in alignment with our enterprise architecture – this may also include developing web frontends for the robots;  - do installations/admin setup related tasks in Blue Prism;  - proactively engage with business and thereby better understand and influence their automation potential;  - participate in system improvement activities to further develop our RPA software platform (Blue Prism);  - keep an eye on major technology trends and roadmaps;  - as part of our RPA Competency Center, you will also take part in the operation, monitoring, and support of our RPA services.
