We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a strong academic record experience working in the Energy Sector. You will work within a large, supportive team of engineers, project managers and support staff with various experience levels within the VMC Section and wider Offshore Infrastructure Department. As an Electrical Engineer you will develop a strong grounding in engineering analysis and independently verifying work that has been carried out by engineering design houses, engineering procurement contractors, Offshore Operators etc. and be expected to develop expertise in a wide range of areas such as offshore service modules, ATEX, fire & gas detection, emergency shutdown systems, ignition prevention, battery systems and power grids.   It is critically important for the role to be able to interpret data from various sources and develop the most appropriate analysis approach required for the task in hand. A strong ability to break down a problem into the component parts and undertaking appropriate self-checking of the results obtained is very significant.   The Electrical Engineer will be client facing and will progress to actively managing their own projects. You are expected to prepare accurate technical reports and will support senior engineers with tenders and proposals. Attendance at meetings and preparation and delivery of presentations will be required. Whilst the position is a predominantly office-based role some occasional travel to client premises may be required. Offshore travel may also be required which would require the candidate to be able to pass an Offshore Medical.   An enthusiastic and cooperative approach to working with other members of the team is vital. Over time the Electrical Engineer will develop a strong understanding of the interplay between their area of specialism and the various engineering disciplines that contribute to an overall project.

GSS IT with nearly 400 employees worldwide is the internal service provider for IT support globally in DNV and has a key role in system evaluation, development, and integration.   We are seeking a Junior Engineer for our IT Infrastructure Windows team based in Gdynia, Poland.   The Windows Team is responsible for the delivery of Windows based services within our hybrid setup (on premise, Cloud Services and Office365).     In your role you will: - Work closely with other virtual teams in GSS IT in order to deliver and improve the operational IT Services in the Windows Backend scope - Actively Participate in development activities - Be a Supporter for the DNV Business and IT Colleagues regarding their requirements and solutions in the hybrid setup - Get hands-on experience with different technologies - Learn a lot
