The focus on decarbonization, digitalization and automation also affect our work. As we are responsible for the technical content of DNV’s governing documents for fire safety and life-saving we develop new and existing requirements continuously. This is done in cooperation with other technical disciplines internally, with flag administrations and other contributors in the maritime industry. The current position is for an entry-level/junior candidate. The successful candidate will have a background in solid mechanics, the strength of materials, and finite element assessment with existing experience with Finite Element analysis tools such as Abaqus.
