We are seeking a Payroll Team Leader for our GSS European Payroll Team based in Gdynia, Poland.   To succeed in this role, you should be a caring and respectful team player with a flexible and adaptable approach, and a customer-centric mindset. You will lead a team of payroll professionals, working closely with DNV Business Area Managers and Regional Advisory teams across Europe, executing payroll service for 20 European countries. In this role, you will also play a key role in carrying out some of the projects within GSS HR.   In your role you will: - Responsible for conducting payroll processes for various countries, incl. documentation and third-party management (e.g. for gross to net payroll calculations, statutory compliances etc). - Responsible for all reporting and reconciliations, Payroll tax updates, including the oversight of all year-end activities with vendor. - Responsible for effective and efficient delivery of Payroll across network – deliver SLA’s (service level agreement’s), KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), metrics/measures. - Mitigate risks related to audits, data privacy, security, visibility and other related regional concerns. - Provides support level 2 inquiry payroll support to employees, managers and Regional HR. AR Team is responsible for allocating incoming and outgoing cash and reconciling bank statements, account reconciliations & reporting, queries management, customer and supplier accounts, monitoring and controlling automated Group Cash Pooling.   We are seeking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant  for the Global Centre GSS Finance in Gdynia, Poland.   Accounts Receivable Accountant will initially report to the Team Leader within the AR Section.Accounts Receivable Accountant is a member of a team of accountants, overseeing all AR-related duties of a given geographical region.   To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with ability to create an atmosphere of motivation and enthusiasm to be part of the Global Centre.    In your role you will:  - Be responsible for daily application of receipts to customer accounts - Resolving bank/General Ledger discrepancies pertaining to receipts from daily bank reconciliations - Working with external customers to reconcile any payment/billing discrepancies - Reconciling Accounts Receivable sub-ledger against General Ledger - Ensuring that AR write-offs are properly authorized as per chart of authority before submitting for booking - Analyze financial information and summarize them - Produce high quality reports and present data - Spot errors and suggest ways to improve them efficiently - Showing initiative and provide input to implement process improvements
