The role of the executive assistant is to support and advise our Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with a variety of tasks within the CFO’s areas of responsibility, including administrative tasks, preparation of presentations, governance- and project management tasks. Through this work, you will be exposed to, and collaborate with, a wide range of people from all levels of the DNV organization.
Your attention to details - while keeping the overall view – will be important. You should be happy to take on new challenges as you are ensuring that administrative tasks are handled with quality and efficiency. Your input on new ways of collaborating and working between the support roles for all Group Officers would be welcomed.
As the assistant to the Group CFO you will be expected to have a strong motivation for, and interest in, assisting and facilitating his/her workdays to be as efficient as possible. To enable this, you will need to maintain ownership and control of the CFO calendar and stay ahead.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the Group CFO, including calendar management, meeting & travel scheduling and follow-up, reporting of travel expenses, as well as support to the Group Finance & Legal team
- Plan and schedule meetings, including but not limited to suggest and plan agenda topics, write meeting minutes of meeting, meeting preparations, follow-up.
- Support with the long-term planning of meetings such as Quarterly Business Review meetings (BRM), Finance Director meetings, DNV Finance & Legal Summit, Group Finance & Legal management meetings and Group Finance and Legal Townhall meetings.
- Support to organize social gatherings and events
- Assemble and review input for internal reporting purposes to e.g. EC and CEO Report.
- Give input, prepare and review presentations and texts for internal/external use
- Involvement in/responsible for projects and governance tasks as agreed with the Group CFO
- Budget preparations and monitoring, invoice management
- Document management (SharePoint, Teams, Decisions, etc.)

Group Legal is part of DNV’s Group functions responsible for providing legal advice to all business areas on a global basis and consists of over 30 lawyers and support staff. Group Legal is a distributed team with lawyers located in Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, Hamburg, Høvik, London and Houston, headed by the Group Legal Director at the DNV headquarters in Veritasparken at Høvik.
The Legal Counsel will be reporting to the Head of DNV Group Legal, Region Middle East & Asia Pacific in Singapore and will be part of a highly skilled and motivated team responsible for the provision of high-quality legal services and advice to the DNV Group in the Middle East & Asia Pacific Region. In this new role you will mainly be focusing on DNV’s Inspection Business, but you will also be working with the entire DNV organisation, advising all business areas (Energy Systems, Maritime, Digital Solutions, Accelerator, Supply Chain and Product Assurance and Business Assurance) as well as providing legal advice to our shared service functions. As a member Group Legal, you will also work closely with other lawyers in the region as well as the ones that are based in Head Office or other regions.
As Legal Counsel in Dubai you will provide legal support and will be in direct contact with DNV managers and employees, at all levels and frequently have the opportunity to participate actively and support the business in its day-to-day challenges.
He or she will be required to analyse and identify legal risks and implications on a wide variety of issues, such as:
- Contractual matters, including drafting and negotiations
- Corporate law
- Intellectual Property Rights
- Claims handling and litigation

Key accountabilities:
- To act in accordance with and promote DNV Group’s purpose, vision, and values, actively promoting and advising on business procedures and policies.
- To routinely draft, negotiate and conclude a variety of commercial agreements including, but not limited to, service contracts, subcontract agreements, MOUs, collaboration agreements, joint industry participation agreements, procurement agreement, across all business areas.

The Sustainability Reporting Manager will be a core member of DNV’s sustainability and climate strategy team and the corporate reporting team, working closely with stakeholders across sustainability, people, finance and with our business areas.
Your main tasks will include:
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments, regulations, and standards in the ESG space, including those stemming from or relating to GRI Universal, CSRD and TCFD standards
- Building working relationships and collaborating widely with our finance and legal team to document the financial impact of ESG
- Collaborate on shaping DNV’s sustainability report and prepare for assuranceconsistent with industry best practices

The Global Finance Trainee programme in DNV is an excellent way to launch your career within finance, business, and economics!
The goal for you, as a Global Finance Trainee in DNV, will be to build competence within finance, business, and economics, more specifically in the areas of strategy, business controlling, accounting, commercial management, and business analysis. The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding of the exciting opportunities and critical challenges in DNV from different perspectives of the company.
The Trainee programme is an on–the–job training programme and we seek to individually design the programme based on each trainee’s qualifications and learning needs, combined with DNV’s strategic focus and competence requirements.
The programme generally consists of three eight-month rotations, where at least one rotation will be outside Norway. During the two-year programme, you will gain experience at different levels and in specialized fields within the DNV organization.

The purpose of DNV’s Group Compliance program is to maintain and develop the organization’s group-wide compliance management system. Focusing on anti-corruption, anti-trust, export control, sanctions, personal data protection, and supply chain law Group Compliance provides global consulting services and is designed to add value and improve DNV’s operations.
Group Compliance has a core team of 4 members, based in Norway (Høvik/Oslo) and Germany (Hamburg). Group Compliance is headed by the Group Compliance Officer located in Hamburg and reporting directly to the Board of Directors (Audit Committee) and the Group CEO on compliance issues. The Group Compliance Officer’s line manager is the Chief People Officer.
